Upon close inspection, I am confident this is a redial. See how the concentric circles in the sunken subdials are not fully defined

Now, I also have a similar watch from the 1940s, a Lusserna (Macy's) chronograph, which is a three register

There are some differences in the case designs -- new watch on top

Essentially, you are looking at a calibre 320 on the left and calibre 321 on the right

New Omega Owner id="post_message_113314">Hi everyone. I would just like to randomly thank the entire Omega forum for all of their unknowing assistance with my purchase. I have read pretty much every post about the Seamaster 2254.50 over the past few days, as well as drooled over the photos of quite of few of your Seamasters as well. I apologize, I will clean the drool up from the forum.

The two watches that it came down to were the 2254.50 and the Seamaster Aqua Terra. In the end, with the discontinuation of the 2254.50, I figured I should get that one while it was still around. I also followed which pictures I would stop at more frequently, which was the 2254.50.

The black dial, the sword hands, and the "perfect" way it sits on so many of your wrists and the other variety of objects which seem to accompany the photos, made the decision so much easier for me.

I promise to have a few photos up in a couple of days as well as not "lurking" so much. It won't be anywhere close to the quality of the photos that set me down this path, but photos nonetheless.

Omega Just purchased 8500 Aqua Terra-11374 -

I took the watch to service center today.
The lady tried twice and agreed that there is something wrong with the crown.
Few minutes later, the watch repairer came out and asked me which part of the crown should he look at.
I then turned the crown again and it's smooth again!
Probably the "dirt" on the crown screw came out when repairer was checking. The watch is good now and I am so happy with that!

I'll send you a pm about this but basicly its your call, if its a good price (ie its way below Rolex and new or used omegas of the same speedy type)I'd have a Omega AD in your city check out the watch as soon as your going to buy it (or some watchmaker that you trust)

I've had a pretty good relationship with the Omega watchmaker AD in my town who never hesitates to tell me if somethings real or fake if its labeled omega in other non AD stores (again old family friend and its a savior when i'm buying relatively used Omegas)
